The joint venture WIES & MOS Ltd. (registered in the city of Ulyanovsk), an affiliate to the Association Stroytransgaz, has finished the construction of the underwater crossing of the main line of Gorki-Yaroslavl oil pipeline across the Oka river in the vicinity of the city of Nizhni Novgorod (the length of the crossing is 1280 m, OD of the pipe is 820 mm, the depth of the pipeline position under the river waterbed is 8 m, the time of pulling through the pipe subway is 25 hours). The work has been successfully carried out despite utmost complex rocks like gypsums, dolomites, anhydrites, marls and other hard rocks.
