The shareholders of JSC Аstrakhannefteprom and OAO Stroytransgaz, Administration of Astrakhan region have decided to establish the Commission on carrying out the international contest, aimed to attract a strategic partner for investments of supplementary exploration and production of hydrocarbon raw materials in the Northern-Astrakhan perspective lease.

The shareholders of JSC Аstrakhannefteprom and OAO Stroytransgaz, Administration of Astrakhan region have decided to establish the Commission on carrying out the international contest, aimed to attract a strategic partner for investments of supplementary exploration and production of hydrocarbon raw materials in the Northern-Astrakhan perspective lease. The Commission will consist of representatives of OAO Stroytransgaz, Administration of Astrakhan region, Regional Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and JSC Аstrakhannefteprom. The Tender Commission will be headed by vice-president of ОАО Stroytransgaz Mr. Victor I. Ott. In a month's time the Commission is entrusted to prepare the tender documentation and regulations for the Contest, with a condition of its completion in August, 2000.
