December 2001

• 12/11/2001 - A.Ya. Bekker, President of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" together with the Rector of the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin have approved the program of cooperation in the field of personnel training and scientific research.
• 12/9/2001 - A.Ya. Bekker, President of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" paid a visit to Algeria.
• 12/8/2001 - A.Ya. Bekker, President of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" paid a visit to Jordan.
• 12/7/2001 - The Scientific and Technical Council of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" has approved the program of cooperation of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" with the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin.

November 2001

• 11/20/2001 - Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, flew in Novy Urengoi (Yamal - Nenets Autonomous District) to take part in the meeting dedicated to the problems of development of the country’s gas industry.
• 11/19/2001 - The 1st group of one hundred JSC "Stroitransgaz" specialists arrived in the airport of Oran (Algeria) by a charter flight from Moscow.
• 11/15/2001 - The contract between the JSC "Stroitransgaz" and the Northern Oil Company of Iraq on the supply of pumping units entered into force.
• 11/6/2001 - The JSC "Stroitransgaz" was awarded the title of Laureate of the top national prize "The Russian National Olympus" in the nomination "Construction.

October 2001

• 10/31/2001 - The official bringing into operation of Zaplyarnoye, the biggest field of hydrocarbons in the continental part of Russia, took place in the location 100 kilometers off the village of Tazovsky, the Yamal – Nenets Autonomous District.
• 10/28/2001 - The mobilization of major material and technical resources has been completed.
• 10/17/2001 - M.M. Kasyanov, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, made a scheduled field trip of Krasnodar Territory to survey on site the course of construction of gas pipeline Russia – Turkey "Goluboi Potok" (the Blue Stream).
• 10/17/2001 - The construction of the CS "Krasnodarskaya" has begun.

September 2001

• 9/29/2001 - The JSC "Stroitransgaz" has finished the installation of the first line of the gas pipeline Zapolyarnoye - Urengoi with the length of 209.1 kilometers.
• 9/26/2001 - The JSC "Stroitransgaz" has finished construction of the longest underwater crossing of the main gas pipeline route "Goluboi Potok" near the village of Belozerka in Krasnodar Territory.
• 9/10/2001 - On the Day of Oil and Gas Industry, 26 employees of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" were awarded the honor titles and heard the words of gratitude from I.H. Yousoufov, the Minister of Power Engineering of the Russian Federation for their significant contribution to the development of the fuel and power complex of Russia.

July 2001

• 7/25/2001 - The contract with the Southern Oil Company of Iraq on the supply of reservoirs with the capacity of 25000 cubic meters and 20000 cubic meters is signed.
• 7/23/2001 - The contract on construction of the Northern section of the Haud-al-Hamra – Arzev 34- inch diameter, 403 kilometers long oil pipeline (Lot No.2) concluded between the JSC "Stroitransgaz" and the Algerian company "Sonatrak" entered into force.
• 7/17/2001 - The Act of the State Commission on the acceptance to operation of the 1st stage of the Administrative building of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" isapproved.
• 7/16/2001 - The Board of Trustees of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" summed up the results of activities of the Oil and Gas Complex Construction Veteran Charity Fund established on the initiative of the company management in 1997.

May 2001

• 5/31/2001 - On May 30, 2001 we have successfully completed installation of first major crossing under the Ponura river in the vicinity of Novotitorovskaya village, Krasnodar region at the construction of the Russia - Turkey main gas pipeline (the "Blue Stream" Project).
• 5/19/2001 - On May 19, 2001, in Astrakhan the president of the OAO Stroytransgaz Arngolt Bekker on behalf of the Russian side signed the Frame Agreement with the Italian concern ENI on the joint accomplishment of oil exploration and field development works in the Northern-Astrakhan perspective lease, which is bordering the Astrakhan gas condensate field.
