On May 30, 2001 we have successfully completed installation of first major crossing under the Ponura river in the vicinity of Novotitorovskaya village, Krasnodar region at the construction of the Russia - Turkey main gas pipeline (the "Blue Stream" Project). There is no analogue for this type of crossing in the world. Installation of 772 meters of 1420 mm in diameter pipeline under the river bottom at a depth of 30 meters was carried out by using the directional drilling method and the most up-dated techniques during 12 days that is considered the shortest period of time for such a complicated technological operation which was carried out by ОАО Stroytransgaz's contractor organizations - Wies & Mos Ltd. and Neftegazstroy.
