A.Ya. Bekker, President of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" together with the Rector of the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin have approved the program of cooperation in the field of personnel training and scientific research. The program envisages: 1) in the field of personnel training and improvement of training process: the JSC "Stroitransgaz" makes, on an annual basis, a presentation to a wide audience of students and Master’s Degree candidates aimed at acquainting them with the objectives and potential of the company; set up the Regional Preparatory Department of the University (RPD "Stroitransgaz") to ensure the purpose-oriented preparation of school- leavers to entering the University within the purpose-oriented state-budget admission to the 1st year; the University, together with the Dean’s Offices, conducts the selection and concludes the trilateral agreements with students and Master’s Degree candidates aimed at their further employment in the JSC "Stroitransgaz" units and involvement in the JSC "Stroitransgaz" programs in accordance with the JSC "Stroitransgaz" requirements; organize the joint preparation and issue of text-books, manuals and films demonstrating the directions of professional activities of the production units of the JSC "Stroitransgaz"; set up the branch of the Chair "Construction and Repair of Gas and Oil Pipelines and Reservoirs"; ensures control over the academic progress of the students getting scholarships provided by the JSC "Stroitransgaz", keep them to the directions of their further employment at the corresponding JSC "Stroitransgaz" departments, organize practical training for them at the production facilities of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" and consultations to them by the specialists of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" while carrying out the term papers and diplomas; assist the University in organizing and conducting the traineeship and field training for the students of the Pipeline Transportation Faculty and in acquiring the worker professions; consider the contents of the academic and seminar programs in speciality "Construction, Operation and Repair of Gas - Oil Transportation Systems" and other specialities taking an account of the present-day requirements put forward by the industry to the specialists of oil and gas facilities construction industry, submit proposals for the consideration by the Training Association on the system of higher education for the specialists oil and gas industry while working on the diplomas, have students use more the subjects proposed by the JSC "Stroitransgaz" specialists and have the latter lead and consult the students while they work on heir diplomas and Master’s Degree theses; organize the selection and purpose-oriented training of engineers and Masters to be employed by the design and scientific organizations under the JSC "Stroitransgaz"; organize the further training of the GazNIIproject specialists at the Training and Research Center for the Development of Vocational Competence on the subject "Design, Construction and Repair of Oil - Gas Pipelines and other Production Facilities of the Oil and Gas Industry" and acquiring the second higher education as per specialities available at the University; organize the purpose-oriented training at Master’s Department of the University on the off-shore pipe laying; enable the JSC "Stroitransgaz" specialists to acquire the second higher education based on a full and part time system in speciality 090700 "Design, Construction and Operation of the Gas - Oil Pipelines and Gas - Oil Reservoirs" and other specialities; based on the instruction of the JSC "Stroitransgaz", carry out the annual courses for the development of vocational competence at the Training and Research Center for the Development of Vocational Competence under the University; for specialists of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" assigned for carrying out the construction projects abroad envisage in the programs for the development of vocational competence the study of foreign languages and extra subjects necessary for their work; organize the foreign language training of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" specialists, the 6th year studies at the University included; enlist the young specialists of the JSC “Stroitransgaz” for the participation in the scientific conferences of young scientists and specialists, contests and other activities of creative nature organized for the young specialists and held by the University; organize, once in two years, the Students’ Inter-University Competitions, conferences dedicated to the issues related to the oil and gas facilities construction; include representatives of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" in the "Design, Construction and Operation of the Gas - Oil Pipelines and Gas - Oil Reservoirs" Speciality Council. 2) In the field of scientific and technical cooperation: Set up the Coordination Council to be dealing with the issues dedicated to the oil and gas facilities construction and operation of the gas and oil transportation systems, prospecting and production of oil and gas. The council will consist of the leading specialists of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" and the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin and determine the urgency of the joint research work and work out the recommendations in this field; establish grants for the leading teaching staff of the University and post-graduates whose research work relates to resolving the urgent issues of the JSC "Stroitransgaz"; organize the field trips of the teaching staff to the production facilities of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" aimed at getting acquainted with new technologies, mechanisms and equipment; conduct the joint meetings of the scientific and technical Council of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" and the Academic Council of the University aimed at discussing the urgent and long-term issues of the oil and gas facilities construction and development of oil and gas deposits; organize the purpose- oriented training of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" specialists aimed at preparing the theses for the candidate’s and doctor’s degree (making use of the part-time post graduate courses and other forms of training); set up the system of mutual consultancy services, joint expert estimations with regard to the development of oil and gas deposits in certain regions and within the oil and gas complex on the whole; organize the participation of the JSC "Stroitransgaz" delegations including the University teaching staff to the international exhibitions and seminars as well as to visits to the oil and gas production facilities under construction; organize the joint participation in the national and international scientific and technical programs aimed at resolving the scientific and practical issues related to the development of the oil and gas complex; issue, on an annual basis, the joint collection of works entitled "The Main and Production Pipelines: Design, Construction, Operation and Repair" aimed at publishing the results of the research and other works carried out by the specialists and young specialists of the JSC 'Stroitransgaz", students and post-graduates of the University.
