Gubkin and representatives of the NorEast Services & Pipelines Company (Great Britain).

Today in the conference hall of JSC “Stroytransgaz” a regular meeting of the scientific and technical seminar was held with a theme “The Autoweld system for automatic welding of pipelines” with the participation of specialists of JSC “Stroytransgaz”, JSC “Gazprom”, Research Institute VNIIGAZ, the Russian State University named after I.M. Gubkin and representatives of the NorEast Services & Pipelines Company (Great Britain).
The experts of the NorEast Services & Pipelines Company made report on the achievements of their Company. The participants of the seminar showed interest in the activities of this organization with the aim of practical acquaintance with the participants of the Autoweld, because in accordance with the current standards it is necessary to prove the actual efficiency of the system during execution of works at the routes of Russian pipelines. The British experts appreciated the high scientific and technical level of the seminar. “We did not even expect to meet such an interested and comprehensive audience”, said Mr. Christopher York, the Manager of the production development of the NorEast Services & Pipelines Company. He added: “Without any question to make a report at such a seminar is much more effective way of acquaintance with specialists than to participate at a big International exhibition”. A tentative program of cooperation between JSC “Stroytransgaz” and NorEast Services & Pipelines Company has been planned.
