JSC “Stroytransgaz” has completed construction of the second stage of boosting compressor station №2 at the Yamburg gas-oil-condensate field on the North of the Tiumen region. The total capacity of the station makes up 96 MW.
At present at the Yamburg field there is a whole technological pattern capable of ensuring treatment and transportation of gas in larger quantities than it may be recovered with the help of boosting compressor stations of the first stage. The major task of JSC of “Stroytransgaz” in 2002 at the Yamburg gas-oil-condensate field is to construct and commission three more booster stations of the second stage and this is equivalent to the development and commissioning of a completely new gas field with the annual output of 20 billion m3. During the years of its existence JSC “Stroytransgaz” has constructed, rehabilitated and updated 45 line and booster compressor stations and installed 165 turbocompressor units with the total capacity of 2300 MW. The scope of works performed is a tangible contribution of the Company to the increase in the volume of transportation of gas and stability of operation of the main pipelines.
