The gas feeding has started to the area of Purtazovskaya compressor station of the main pipeline of Zapoliarnoe - Noviy Urengoy for the purpose of complex testing all the compressor station systems in the course of starting operations and setting-up works at this compressor station constructed by JSC STROYTRANSGAZ.
At present the gas is dispensed to the preparation installation for fuel starting and pulsed gas. At the end of September, when the starting operations and setting-up works will be finished, it’s planned to actuate the first 4 units which will enable Purtazovskaya compressor station to transmit 35 billions cubed meters of gas per year. In total 6 turbo-machines of 16 megawatt power for each are constructed at Purtazovskaya compressor station. The station itself belongs to the line projects of Zapoliarnoe – Noviy Urengoy main pipeline and is situated on the right side of Pur River at a distance of 120 km from the Zapoliarnoe gas- oil-condensate field. The total productivity of Purtazovskaya compressor station during the maintenance will constitute not less 50 billions cubed meters of gas per year.
