JSC “Stroytransgaz” has commissioned the “Purtazovskaya” Compressor Station (CS) forming a part of the linear facilities of the Zapoliarnoe – Novyi Urengoy main gas pipeline.
In accordance with the design 6 turbo-generators with the total capacity of 96 MW have been installed at the “Purtazovskaya” Compressor Station. By now three of these units have been pumping gas into the main gas pipeline trouble free during 72 hours, the fourth one after 72 hours of operation was stopped for operational check and testing, two other turbo-generators are being prepared for commissioning. Alongside with the compressor station the following facilities were constructed: a living camp complex, diesel power plant, automatic boiler house of a unit design, fuel storage tank farm, pier for discharge of fuel and lubricants, the “Biodisk” water treatment plant, water intake facilities. The total capacity of the “Purtazovskaya” Compressor Station makes up 30-40 billion m3 of gas a year. JSC “Yamalgazinvest” is the Client of the Project. During the past 12 years JSC “Stroytransgaz” constructed, reconstructed and modernized 45 line and booster compressor stations, installed 165 turbo units with the total capacity of 2 300 MW. The work performed by the Company is a substantial contribution to the increase of the volume of gas transportation and stability of operation of main pipelines especially during winter period. At present JSC “Stroytransgaz” is making preparations for commissioning of the “Krasnodarskaya” Compressor Station with the total capacity of 80 MW at the “Blue Stream” Project.
