OAO STROYTRANSGAZ has received an official invitation from the state Company SAUDI ARAMCO, the world’s largest oil producer, to start the registration procedure on the territory of Saudi Arabia.
This invitation is a result of the presentation of the Stroytransgaz Company which took place in the main headquarters of SAUDI ARAMCO in Dahran at the beginning of this week. In the course of the presentation the Russian company has clearly demonstrated its achievements and technical capabilities in the sphere of oil and gas development both in Russia in the capacity of the contractor of the gas Concern OAO GAZPROM and abroad. In particular a special emphasis was placed on the Blue Stream project where Stroytransgaz participated as a general contractor of the onshore sections of the gas-transport main and in the construction of the Haud-El-Khamra – Arzew oil pipeline in Algeria. As is well-known during realization of these projects a high professional level of the experts of Stroytransgaz allowed us to achieve record figures in welding operations using the CRC-Evans welding equipment viz.: 207 weld joints per shift in Turkey and 251 weld joints in Algeria. The high rate of construction work as well as conformity of all the construction processes to the highest international standards of quality are the main competitive advantages of OAO STROYTRANSGAZ. The senior vice-president of SAUDI ARAMCO Salim S. Al-Aydh characterized the activities of the Russian company as very impressive. He also emphasized that the government of Saudi Arabia encouraged coming to the country foreign companies who possess modern technologies and know-how. OAO STROYTRANSGAZ is the first Russian company who has established business contacts with the SAUDI ARAMCO Company and has received invitation to register as its official contractor in order to obtain the right for participation in realization of large-scale oil and gas projects.
