The Consortium consisting of OAO Stroytransgaz, Indian companies Essar Construction Ltd. and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. have won a tender for construction of the Baroda-Ahmedabad-Kalol gas transmission pipeline 135 km. long, 24” in diameter.
The Owner of the Project is Gujarat State Petronet India Ltd.
The contract has been concluded on EPC terms (engineering, procurement, construction).
Time needed for realization of the project – 12 months.
Gas will be supplied through the pipeline for the Ahmedabad Electric Company. Within the framework of the Project provision has been made for construction of a high pressure pipeline, as well as construction of a terminal and production facilities in Baroda and Kalol.
