Noyabrsk, Yamal - Nenetsk Autonomous Area. OAO STROYTRANSGAZ has completed the construction of the booster pumping station (BPS) № 2 together with a preliminary dewatering unit at the Sporyshevsky oil field.
Operating of BPS-2 will allow one to increase the annual oil production at the field up to 4-5 million tons.
STROYTRANSGAZ commenced the construction of BCS-2 and development of the field in August 2002.
The customer for the Project is OAO "Sibneft-Noyabrskneftegaz" - a subsidiary of OAO "Sibneft".
During the construction of BPS-2 the specialists of STROYTRANSGAZ have applied a complete self-contained unit method of construction and this allowed the company to complete construction and installation works and pressure tests one month ahead of schedule.
At present oil-gathering, water supply systems and electric mains are being constructed at the Sporishevsky oil field. The completion of the Project is planned for December 2003.

The Sporishevsky is one of the newly explored oil fields located in the suburbs of the city of Noyabrsk. It was discovered by means of a new method of aerospace photography. Crude oil production had begun in 1996. At present the annual oil production is about 2 million tons.
