The Joint Venture “VIS & MOS”, a subsidiary of OAO Stroytransgaz and its Director General Mr. Alexander Mayer have been decorated with a gold medal and honourable diploma of the Russian – Swiss business club “For stainless business reputation”.
This decision was taken by the Council of Experts consisting of the representatives of the Russian – Swiss business club, the Russian Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs, Higher institute of business and management (Geneva), non-commercial partnership “National credit bureau” and international consulting company Technomic Consultants.
The selection of the most perspective and dynamically developing enterprises by request of the Council of Experts is carried out by the National credit bureau the founders of which are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the State statistics committee of the Russian Federation and the Russian-American firm Dun & Bradstreet.
The information on companies is collected from the press and open information of the Russian data base. Then, based on the personal recommendations of the members of the Council the most deserving candidates are awarded with the Gold medal of the Russian-Swiss business club.
The Russian-Swiss business club was founded in Geneva in 1994. The club unifies scores of companies form Switzerland and Russia. The main objects of the activity of the club are assistance for the development of Russian-Swiss business relations by exchanging business and cultural information, organization of business meetings, conferences, various training courses, publication and other activities. The club is assisted by the Russian diplomatic mission accredited to UN in Geneva, Department of the public economy of Geneva and commercial and economic section of the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Moscow.
During functioning of the club more that thirty Russian companies and educational institutions have deserved the highest award. The Gold medal “For stainless business reputation” is not only an invitation for joining the club but as well as recommendation of a sort when working abroad.
The award of the Russian-Swiss business club for “VIS & MOS” is the acknowledgement of the world authority gained by the company in the field of introduction of the technology of pipe driving under natural and artificial obstacles.
Joint Venture “VIS & MOS” was founded in 1994 on the initiative of OAO Stroytransgaz for the development and introduction in our country of new progressive technologies for installation of oil and gas pipelines under different obstacles by the horizontal directional drilling method.
Last year for the elaboration and introduction of this unique resource-saving technology “VIS & MOS” was awarded with the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation for 2001 in the field of science and technology.
The total length of the crossings through natural and artificial obstacles installed by the company during 9 years of its existence made up 160 000 meters.
