Within the framework of the Second Russian-American Energy Business Summit in St. Petersburg OAO Stroytransgaz and Foundation System Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Foundation System Inc. is an American company implementing various energy production and transportation projects including the project on the construction, within the Consortium, of the natural gas pipeline from Russia to Korean People’s Democratic Republic and Republic of Korea.
In the presence of official representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Departments of Energy from Russia and the US the Memorandum was signed by the President of Foundation System Inc. Mr. John Fetter and the First Vice-president of OAO Stroytransgaz Mr. Leonid Bokhanovsky.
The main purpose of the Memorandum is to strengthen the agreements reached at the Summit considering participation of OAO Stroytransgaz in the “KoRus” project.
