From October 7 through 10 Stroytransgaz participated in the eleventh international exhibition in Kazakhstan “KIOGE-2003” (town of Almaty). During the last years the exhibition has acquired a deserved reputation of one of the most important international oil and gas forums at the Caspian sea coast.

At “KIOGE” exhibition the achievements of the world oil and gas industry are represented which makes it an important place of business meetings where they discuss topical questions and exchange technologies and knowledge in the energetic sphere.

This year “KIOGE-2003” took place traditionally under the aegis of the Government of the Kazakh Republic, the Ministry of the Energetic and Mineral Resources, ZAO “NK KazMunaiGaz”. More than 370 companies from 35 countries took part in the exhibition.

At the exhibition Stroytransgaz was represented by: Vice-President Andrei Ermokhin, Deputy Head of the Department of the prospective development and preproduction Serguei Vinnichenko, Senior technologist of the Direction of preproduction Victor Semeno, press-secretary of OAO Stroytransgaz Valentina Smirnova, Head of the Direction on the Kazakh Republic Alexander Stasuk, official of the Center of information and public relations Oleg Sviatoslavsky, as well as representatives of the subsidiary enterprises: Director of the works of heating engineering equipment Oleg Zagvazdin, Deputy Head on the marketing of ZAO Gazdevice Yuliya Guliaeva, Senior expert of the Section of preproduction of ZAO Gazdevice Irina Eftukhova and Head designer of the “Trubodetal” works Vladimir Pirogov.

In the framework of the exhibition an international conference was held where the representatives of the state and business circles from more than 30 countries could exchange opinions on different problems of the development of the Kazakh oil and gas structure.

Serguei Vinnichenko, Deputy Head of the Department of the prospective development and preproduction, in his report at the forum pointed out as follows: “New Kazakhstan needs new technologies. No matter what legal form will take our relations with the Kazakh companies: we are prepared and want to share the experience and knowledge our company has acquired during the years of its work. It is important that the first step that was taken at the construction of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline become the beginning of a long way the Russian and Kazakh companies will follow together”.
