OAO Stroytransgaz and Sibneft-Noyabrskneftegaz arranged the test gas run at the Development System of the Zapadno-Ozernoye Field (Chukot Autonomous Area). Gas will be supplied to Automatic Gas Distribution Terminal in Anadyr City.
At the moment specialists from OAO Stroytransgaz are executing commissioning of the Complex Gas Treatment Facility.
Stroytransgaz has constructed CGTF and developed the Zapadno-Ozernoye Field since January 2003. OAO Sibneft is the Project Client.
CGTF start-up (planned for the fourth quarter of 2003) will provide for producing gas at the Zapadno-Ozernoye gas condensate field, which is the only developed among Chukchi major fields.
The production is expected to start next year after low-pressure pipe line is arranged from the Zapadno-Ozernoye to Anadyr City. The development of the Zapadno-Ozernoye field will be a great deal in the overall advancement of Russian North-East. Moreover, the material base of the Russian oil and gas sector will be enlarged.
