• 12/27/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz received an official letter of advice that it had been pre-qualified and given the status of In Kingdom Contractor of the Saudi Arabian Oil Corporation (Saudi Aramco).
• 12/23/2004 - ОАО Stroytransgaz signed a contract for construction of oil-gathering system of West Salym field with Salym Petroleum Development N.V. – SPD
• 12/22/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz concluded the first stage of gas supply to the city of Kyzylorda, the center of the region that socially, economically and ecologically is of one of the most complicated regions of RK.
• 12/22/2004 - At the central office of OAO STROYTRANSGAZ traditional ceremony of handing of the Company's grants certificates to students of Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs and Russian State University on Petroleum and Gas was held.
• 12/5/2004 - Within the frames of the official visit of the President of Russia to India, the management of the Companies OAO Stroytransgaz and Essar Group carried out negotiations on the prospect of further cooperation.
• 12/5/2004 - In the framework of the official visit of the President of the Russian Federation to India, Victor Lorents, President of OAO Stroytransgaz, took part in the meeting of the leader of Russia and representatives of the Russian oil and gas companies with Mani Shankar Aiar, Minister of oil and natural gas of India.
• 12/3/2004 - Victor Lorents, President of OAO Stroytransgaz, and Proshanto Banergy, Managing Director of Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL), have signed Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation in the framework of the Program of the official visit of the President of the Russian Federation to India.

November 2004

• 11/17/2004 - At the 9th International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” that was held in Ashkhabad from 15 to 17 November, OAO Stroytransgaz demonstrated its possibilities in development of oil and gas market of the Republic.
• 11/12/2004 - ZAO Krasnodarstroytransgaz put into operation Oil Terminal Station Kavkazskaya in Krasnodar region that was built on EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) basis.

October 2004

• 10/20/2004 - Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. OAO Stroytransgaz concluded construction of the 57 km looping to the gas pipeline system “Nothern Parts of Tyumen Region (SRTO) – Torzhok”, that connected the Compressor stations (CS) Pangodinskaya and Pravokhettinskaya
• 10/4/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz completed construction of the second stage of the Complex Gas Treatment Plant (CGTP) - 3C.

September 2004

• 9/6/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz has completed Construction of the Last Second Stage Booster Compressor Station (BCS) № 4 with Total Installed Capacity of 96 Mw at Yamburg GOGCF (Gas, Oil and Gas Condensate Field) in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area
• 9/1/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz completed construction of the gas pipeline branch Krasnenkoe – Rashkovo in the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic under EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) contract with OOO Tiraspoltransgaz.

July 2004

• 9/14/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz is awarded with Certificates of Conformity to requirements of International and Russian Standards OHSAS 18001:1999, GOST P 12.0.006-2002 and P ISO 14001-98 of health, safety and environment management systems.
• 7/29/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz in consortium with its engineering subsidiary STG-International GmbH has won the tender for construction of a section of the oil pipeline Melut Basin Oil Development Project in Sudan, 366 km long.
• 7/20/2004 - The Consortium formed of OAO Stroytransgaz and Rumanian construction company Petromservice has won contracts in four lots on construction of high pressure gas pipelines in the Rumanian district of Sucaeva with a total length of 268 km and 47 gas distribution stations.
• 7/15/2004 - The plant of gas equipment ZAO Gasdevice, a subsidiary of OAO Stroytransgaz, was awarded a diploma of the winner of the Moscow regional competition in the framework of the All-Russian Program “100 best products of Russia” for a high technical level, quality and reliability of the NPM gas meter.
• 7/9/2004 - The NPM gas meter produced by ZAO Gasdevice became the winner of the Moscow regional competition “Laureate of the year 2003” in the nomination “The best products”.
• 7/7/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz in consortium with the Indian company Essar Construction Ltd. has signed a contract for construction of product pipeline Chennai-Trichy-Madurai, total length 688 km, in the southern part of India.
• 7/6/2004 - President of OAO Stroytransgaz Victor Lorents and First Vice Presidents Anatoly Gorelov and Evgeniy Lavrentiev were awarded with the Gold Medal named after A.K.Kortunov for contribution into progress of the gas industry of the Russian Federation in 2001-2003.

June 2004

• 6/1/2004 - Andrey Semikolennykh, deputy manager of the Health, Safety and Environment Department of OAO Stroytransgaz, became a Laureate of All-Russia scientific conference of young scientists and specialists of the gas industry held in the town of Yamburg at the end of May.

May 2004

• 5/25/2004 - During the period from 25 to 29 May OAO Stroytransgaz is taking part in the annual specialized International exhibitions “Construction equipment, machinery and technologies - 2004” and “Commercial motor transport - 2004” in Moscow.
• 5/18/2004 - OAO STROYTRANSGAZ has completed the second stage of construction of the 325km long Russian section of Yamal – Europe gas pipeline from Torzhokskaya to Smolenskaya compressor station.
• 5/17/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz has transferred more than 100 thousand rubles for treatment and recreation in the Crimea of the inmates of the Children’s Home near Moscow.
• 5/14/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz in Consortium with the Indian companies Essar Constructions Ltd. and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has completed construction of the Baroda – Ahmedabad – Kalol gas pipeline 134 km long 24 inch in diameter in the state of Gujarat in India.
• 5/14/2004 - In the main office of OAO Stroytransgaz an annual meeting of the shareholders was held at which an annual report and balance sheet of the Company for the year 2003 were approved.

April 2004

• 4/23/2004 - From April 19 till April 21 OAO Stroytransgaz participated in the 4th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition and Conference “OGWA – Oil and Gas West Asia 2004” that took place in Oman.

March 2004

• 3/19/2004 - On 19th March a ceremony of presentation of awards to the laureates of the National Prize “Energy of Russia - 2003” was held in Moscow which was instituted by the Moscow International Oil and Gas Club and the RusEnergy Agency.
• 3/17/2004 - Based on the results of an open competition on state purchases for the contract “Transfer of heat-and-power consuming installations and residential areas in the town of Kyzylorda to associated gas” which was arranged in the regional Department of energy infrastructure and mineral resources of Kyzylorda, OAO Stroytransgaz was declared the winner.

February 2004

• 2/2/2004 - As a result of the regional competition of public recognition» Person of 2003", which took place in Kursk, the President of OAO "Stroytransgaz" Mr. Victor Lorenz was awarded the "Sponsor of the Year" title.

January 2004

• 1/12/2004 - Today at five o’clock in the morning Moscow time Stroytransgaz completed installation of the last tie-in joint of a section charged with it of the third line of the Zapoliarnoe-Urengoy main gas pipeline.
• 1/5/2004 - OAO Stroytransgaz has concluded a contract with OOO Tiraspoltransgaz for construction of the Krasnenkoe – Rashkovo gas pipeline on a turn key basis in the Transnistrian Republic of Moldova.
