OAO Stroytransgaz has concluded a contract with OOO Tiraspoltransgaz for construction of the Krasnenkoe – Rashkovo gas pipeline on a turn key basis in the Transnistrian Republic of Moldova.
In accordance with the terms of the contract the construction will last for seven months and will be commenced at the end of February 2004.
The length of the gas pipeline is 30 km and the pipe diameter is 219 mm.
Provision has been made for construction of two automatic gas-distributing stations on the route of the pipeline which are meant for future gas supply of the northern regions of Transnistria with the population over 50 thousand people.
At present the Parties consider the possibility to sign an addendum to the concluded contract with the aim to continue construction of the gas pipeline from the Rashkovo automatic gas-distributing station to the town of Kamenka and provide gas supply to the adjacent settlements.
