As a result of the regional competition of public recognition» Person of 2003", which took place in Kursk, the President of OAO "Stroytransgaz" Mr. Victor Lorenz was awarded the "Sponsor of the Year" title.
Last years OAO "Stroytransgaz" considerably contributes into social and economic development of Kursk region, including preservation of the area's cultural traditions.
OAO "Stroytransgaz" is one of the basic trustees of annual music festivals and competitions named after Georgy Sviridov. These events are traditionally held in Kursk region as it is the native land of the Great Russian composer.
The Company maintains close cooperation with the Kursk branch of the National Sviridov Foundation. This cooperation had started in December 2001, when within the framework of the charitable program and in an effort to support culture and art OAO "Stroytransgaz" came out as the general sponsor for the first all-Russia competition of vocal music named after Georgy Sviridov.
