From April 19 till April 21 OAO Stroytransgaz participated in the 4th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition and Conference “OGWA – Oil and Gas West Asia 2004” that took place in Oman.
OAO Stroytransgaz took part in this exhibition with the purpose of establishing contacts with public and private companies of Oman and the Near East for further possible cooperation.
Oil & Gas West Asia (OGWA) is based on the first three successfully held exhibitions that were taking place under the patronage of His Excellency Doctor Mohammed Ben Hamad Saif al Roumhi, Minister of Oil & Gas of Sultanate of Oman.
Over 100 companies from 15 countries of the world took part in this Exhibition/Conference. The exposition displayed technologies and equipment for prospecting, development and operation of oil and gas fields, well-boring, construction of facilities, transportation, storage, processing and production of fuel. Apart from this the following was proposed to the attention of the specialists from different countries: technologies for construction of up-to-date pipelines, valves, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, instruments and control systems; offshore equipment, tankers; liquid and petrochemical products, power equipment, safety systems, waste treatment and waste recycling technologies, industrial water purification, equipment for soil contamination control.
More than 60 representatives of foreign oil companies, interested in engineering and construction of oil and gas projects, familiarized themselves with OAO Stroytransgaz activities.
Such well known Russian companies as GUP “PO Uralvagonzavod”, OOO “Burovoi Instrument”, OOO “PNKTs “InzhGeo” ZAO “Inteko”, Amalgamated Metallurgical Company demonstrated their production at the Exhibition.
