Andrey Semikolennykh, deputy manager of the Health, Safety and Environment Department of OAO Stroytransgaz, became a Laureate of All-Russia scientific conference of young scientists and specialists of the gas industry held in the town of Yamburg at the end of May.
This conference was dated for the 20-th anniversary of OOO Yamburggazdobycha who possesses the largest reserves of natural gas in the system of fuel and energy complex of Russia and it is the most northern gas producing company of OAO Gazprom.
The subject and theme of the conference was the innovation potential of young specialists of the gas industry as the condition for the increase of efficiency of the development of the Yamal hydrocarbon fields.
OAO Stroytransgaz was represented at the conference by the following young specialists: Nikolay Pustovoit and Kirill Skotorenko, chief technologists of the Pipeline Construction Department; Alexey Romashov, a leading specialist of the Department for Economic Relations with the countries of Europe and Middle East; Victor Semeno, chief technologist of the Department for Prospective Development of Production, and Andrey Semikolennykh, deputy manager of the Health, Safety and Environment Department. All of them presented papers at the conference dealing with the most important tasks of development of the gas industry in the Far North, they also proposed their solutions for the development of gas and gas-oil-condensate fields of Yamal.
The paper presented by Andrey Semikolennykh: “The efficiency of measures on protection of gas transportation facilities against erosion and thermokarst during construction under conditions of longstanding frozen earth” ranked first in the section “Energy-saving and Ecology”. The lecturer analyzed practical experience gained by Stroytransgaz during application of various constructive solutions at the construction of main gas pipelines at the Zapolyarnoe – Novy Urengoy gas-oil-condensate field.
The paper of each participant of the conference was assessed according to the following criteria: topicality, practical importance for the enterprises of gas industry, originality, innovation ideas or solutions, the use of modern achievements of science and technology, availability of the results obtained etc. The jury consisted of highly qualified managers and specialists of different departments of OOO Yamburggazdobycha. Besides, one amongst the participants addressed the conference as an independent expert on each subject.
More than 200 young specialists and scientists from different towns of Russia took part in the conference.
