President of OAO Stroytransgaz Victor Lorents and First Vice Presidents Anatoly Gorelov and Evgeniy Lavrentiev were awarded with the Gold Medal named after A.K.Kortunov for contribution into progress of the gas industry of the Russian Federation in 2001-2003.
One of the major achievements of the Management of OAO Stroytransgaz is development and commissioning of the giant field in the Yamalo-Nenets AO – GNKM Zapolyarnoe. The first time in the last 15 years in Russia was developed a field of this size. Volume of production at GKNM Zapolyarnoe will be 100 bcm of gas per year, which will enable to sustain the level of production of natural gas in the country.
A new decoration in the field of TEK, the Gold Medal named after A.K.Kortunov, was established this year by the Russian Union of Contractors in the field of oil & gas construction (RSNGS) in the memory of a statesman of our country, first Minister of the Ministry of Gas Industry, founder of the oil and gas complex.
With active participation of Aleksey Kortunov, Hero of the Soviet Union, the gas industry turned into powerful sector of the national economy. Especially big contribution was made by A.K.Kortunov into creation of principally new, most economical an ecological pipeline transport, the turnover of which is second only to the railway transport.
Many professionals-oil-&-gas constructors of OAO Stroytransgaz began to work under the direction of A.K.Kortunov. At present they continue developing of the home oil and gas industry, following the principles of the founder of the industry. All their activity is a brilliant confirmation of that.
President of OAO Stroytransgaz Victor Lorents took part in construction of the following oil and gas pipelines: Aleksandrovskoe-Anzhero-Sudzhensk; Ust-Balyk-Kurgan-Ufa-Almetievsk; Nizhnevartovsk-Kurgan-Kuibyshev; Surgut-Polotsk; Kholmogory-Klin; Nadym-Punga-Vuktyk; SRTO (North Areas of Tyumen Region)-Torzhok; Parabel-Kuzbass; Urengoy-Chelyabinsk-Petrovsk;Urengoy-Petrovsk; Yamburg-Tsentr; Nizhnyaya Tura-Perm-Kazan-Gorkiy.
First Vice President of OAO Stroytransgaz Evgeniy Lavrentiev was a direct participant of construction of all major oil pipelines, namely: Krasnoyarsk-Irkutsk; Ust-Balyk-Omsk; Aleksandrovskoe-Anzhero-Sudzhensk; Ust-Balyk-Kurgan-Ufa-Almetievsk; Surgut-Polotsk; and practically of all gas pipelines networked at present into the Unified Gas Transportation System: Bukhara-Ural; multiple line pipeline Middle Asia-Tsentr; system of gas cross country pipelines from Medvezhie, Urengoy fields and Yamal Peninsula fields to Central Russia , and also Sverdlov, Perm, Orenburg, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk regions.
First Vice President of OAO Stroytransgaz Anatoly Gorelov was at the head of the development works of Medvezhie, Urengoy, Yamburg fields, Yamal Peninsula fields, construction of two stages of compressor station Almaznaya at SRTO-Ural gas pipeline, construction of three lines gas pipeline Zapolyarnoe-Urengoy, realization of Tragas project. Development of GNKM Zapolyarnoe was carried out under his direct management.
In opinion of Sergei Arakelyan, a veteran of the oil and gas industry, adviser to the President of OAO Stroytransgaz, the Gold Medal named after A.K.Kortunov shall become a stimulus for oil and gas constructors when carrying out the tasks for development of oil and gas industry.
Along with top managers of OAO Stroytransgaz the representatives of OAO Trubodetal, an affiliate of OAO Stroytransgaz, namely, Lev Nedospasov, General Director, Alexandre Pomazan, Chief Engineer and Akhat Turabaev, Deputy General Manager for quality.
By decision of the Board of Directors of RSNGS, the Gold Medal named after A.K.Kortunov will be every year awarded both, to individuals and enterprises and organizations for special achievements in the field of oil and gas construction.
