The Consortium formed of OAO Stroytransgaz and Rumanian construction company Petromservice has won contracts in four lots on construction of high pressure gas pipelines in the Rumanian district of Sucaeva with a total length of 268 km and 47 gas distribution stations.
The Customer of the project is the administration of the Sucaeva district Council.
The following big construction companies of Rumania participated in the tender:
T.M.U.C.B., Conmag, Petrocons, Amarad, Inspet, Tim and others. However the proposal on the part of the Stroytransgaz-Petromservice Consortium more fully complied with the requirements of the Customer.
Based on mutual agreement and with consideration for the wishes of the Customer Stroytransgaz will construct on a turn-key basis sections: Redeuts-Sirets 34.9 km long, Kympylung-Vatra Dorney-Frasin 66 km long and carry out installation of seven automatic gas distribution stations.
The high pressure gas pipeline route runs along hilly ground. The most complicated area for laying of the gas pipeline is the Kympylung-Vatra Dorney-Frasin section which is characterized by mountain relief.
During installation of gas supply for the Suceava district the ‘blue fuel’ will be delivered to four towns and 54 villages of the same district.
This project will be implemented during two years.
