OAO Stroytransgaz completed construction of the gas pipeline branch Krasnenkoe – Rashkovo in the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic under EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) contract with OOO Tiraspoltransgaz.

The length of the pipeline is 30 km, OD is 219 mm.

Construction works on the pipeline were carried out by ZAO Astrakhanstroytransgaz, STG’s subsidiary company, whose specialists have experience in implementation of similar projects in Russia.

The pipeline is destined to supply gas to the town of Kamenka, Kamenka district (the only district not supplied with gas in Transnistria) and some other settlements of Rybnitskiy district.

Apart from the liner part of the gas pipeline, the Project also includes installation of fiber optic cable for remote control system, installation of radio communication facilities and two AGDS (Automatic Gas Distribution Stations) in Rashkovo and Vadul-Turkului, destined to provide subsequent gas supply to the northern parts of Transnistria.

The source of gas supply is the cross-country gas pipeline Ananyev – Chernovtsy – Borodchany.

The gas pipeline branch route passes through flat gently sloped terrain that is crossed by 53 natural and artificial obstacles; a number of deep gullies, water ways, roads and underground facilities.

The construction was started in February, 2004.
