OAO Stroytransgaz completed construction of the second stage of the Complex Gas Treatment Plant (CGTP) - 3C.

OAO Stroytransgaz completed construction of the second stage of the Complex Gas Treatment Plant (CGTP) - 3C. As a result the Gas, Oil and Gas Condensate Field (GOGCF) Zapolyarnoe achieved the projected volumes of gas production of 100 bcm per year.
Construction of CGTP-3C was carried out by the strength of subcontractor organizations of OAO Stroytransgaz, i.e. the subsidiaries of OAO Stroytransgaz in Urengoy, ZAO Urengoygazinvest, OAO Sibcomplektmontazh, OAO Arkticneftegazstroy, OAO Severgazstroy, OAO Ghidravlic, OAO Sofis-M, OAO Gazstroydetal and OAO Reghionstroymontazh.
The project for development of Zapolyarnoe field was developed by the Saratov Institute OOO VNIPIGazdobycha in cooperation with the Institute OAO Fundamentproject with engagement of some other design organizations.
Achievement of full gas production capacity by the Giant Field Zapolyarnoe will preserve the level of hydrocarbon fuel production in the country. The total gas reserves of the field are estimated at 3 tcm.
As it has been already reported, construction of the field production complex in the Extreme North was carried out in three stages. The first Plant – CGTP-1C was constructed by OAO Stroytransgaz in September 2001, CGTP-2C in December 2002 with achieving full capacity in September 2003, CGTP-3C in December 2003 with achieving full capacity in October 2004. The works were performed under forced practices in unstable financial and economic conditions. The construction was carried out all-the-year-round despite the severe climatic condition of the region.
All three Plants were constructed under the newest technology, in strictest compliance with the existing international quality standards, and equipped with the up to date instrumentation systems.
Full commission of CGTP-3C is scheduled for December 2004. By that time the construction works at the facilities of the third stage are to be completed, i.e. the repair unit, the garage and parking station with repair shops, shop for diglycol regeneration shall be constructed.
On the occasion of achieving full capacity by Zapolyarnoe field and the 20th Anniversary of the Client, the subsidiary of Gazprom OOO Yamburggazdobycha, festivities were held in the settlement of Yamburg. President of OAO Stroytransgaz Mr. Victor Lorents and top managers Messrs. Anatoly Gorelov and Alexander Kapnik took part in those festivities. It is the OAO Stroytransgaz management’s opinion that development of GOGCF Zapolyarnoe is a positive result of long-term cooperation of the Company with OAO Gazprom, and that it creates real prospects for realization of new joint scaled projects in Eastern Siberia, Baltic and Asian-Pacific Ocean regions.

Practical cooperation of OAO Stroytransgaz with the largest gas producing company of Russia – OOO Yamburggazdobycha started in 1995 with construction of booster compressor stations at GOGCF Yamburg.
