ZAO Krasnodarstroytransgaz put into operation Oil Terminal Station Kavkazskaya in Krasnodar region that was built on EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) basis.
The Terminal Station is designed for trans-shipment of Russian oil by railway transport into the pipeline system ZAO Caspian Pipeline Consortium in volume of 6 million tons per year.
Persuant to an agreement with ZAO Naftatrans, investor of the Project, ZAO Krasnodarstroytransgaz was entrusted with functions of customer-developer and general contractor with 11 months time of performance, including 8 months time performance of civil works (standard time of performance – 22 months).
Conducted analysis of the project realization components (surveying, engineering, co-ordination, legal paper work and obtaining of permits, building and assembly jobs, testing and commissioning) and organizational management demonstrated a possibility of the Contract execution to a schedule date subject to efficient performance of every component within rigidly scheduled time.
Designing of the Project was carried out simultaneously with construction works that gave a possibility to optimize decisions in selecting materials and special technological equipment (Plant), and thus to keep within the time schedule set by ZAO Naftatrans.
The Project provided for complex building of a system of access roads and railroads, site of oil terminal station, 15.7 km oil pipeline up to a tie-in into the pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, and reconstruction of the railway road station Ghetmanovskaya (North Caucasus railway road).
By request of the investor company only Russian equipment was installed at the Project.
On completion of the works a reclamation of 49 ha of agricultural lands was carried out, and 39 900 m2 of the Oil terminal Station Site were equipped with amenities.
Over 40 special-purpose enterprises of Krasnodar region were engaged by ZAO Krasnodarstroytransgaz for designing and construction of the Project.
Information
ZAO Krasnodarstroytransgaz was established by OAO Stroytransgaz in 1998 for management of oil and gas projects in Krasnodar region.
Personnel of the organization took part in realization of the Blue Stream Project (the main gas pipeline Russia-Turkey).
In June of this year ZAO Krasnodarstroytransgaz was awarded with a Gold Medal “For stainless business reputation” of the Russian-Swiss Business Club.
