OAO Stroytransgaz received an official letter of advice that it had been pre-qualified and given the status of In Kingdom Contractor of the Saudi Arabian Oil Corporation (Saudi Aramco). This status gives the right to the Russian Company to take part in tenders of this Oil Corporation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for construction of linear and ground facilities of pipeline systems.
At present OAO Stroytransgaz has already received from Saudi Aramco a proposal to bid in two tenders.
This summer OAO Stroytransgaz received a certificate of commercial registration and opened a branch office in the territory of the Eastern Province of the Saudi Arabia in the city of Al-Hobar. The activity of the Branch is directed at representing the Company’s interests in the oil and gas market of the Kingdom and implementation of real-time interaction with clients and partners.
Business contacts between OAO Stroytransgaz and Saudi Aramco, the biggest producer of hydrocarbons in the world, were established in 2002.
