OAO Stroytransgaz starts construction of the heating main from the Northern – Western Heat Power Plant to the Coastal Boiler-House in Saint-Petersburg.


The Owner of the construction is ZAO Teplomagistral.

Construction of the heating main is one of the most scaled infrastructure projects in the city for the last ten years.

Governor of Saint-Petersburg V.I.Matvienko, Member of the Managing Board of RAO UES S.K.Dubinin, First Vice President of OAO Stroytransgaz E.A.Lavrentiev, representatives of the city administration and community took part in the solemn ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the heating main.

Commissioning of the heating main will enable to do away with the heat deficit in the Costal district of the city and provide the stable heat supply to the new microdistricts. The project will be implemented within 2 years and that is the shortest possible time for realization of such projects. The Owner picked up the most economical commercial proposal for construction of the heating main out of several that were proposed by various construction organizations.

OAO actively participates in different programs for modernization of town infrastructure in the Russian Federation.

Starting from 1997 the Company carries out the work within the general federal program of Gas Supply to the regions of Russia. Gas was supplied to over 350 settlements in 30 districts of Orlov, Kursk, Lipetsk and Astrakhan regions.

The town heating main is a closed loop system for supply of water from the heat power plant  to supply heat to town districts and its return into the technological system of the heat power plant.
