Salym Petroleum Development N.B. (SPD) and OAO Stroytransgaz have signed an Addendum to the operating Contract for construction of in-field pipelines at the Salym group of oil fields.
Pursuant to this Addendum OAO Stroytransgaz undertakes during the winter season of 2005-2006 to construct a pipeline that will join together all three fields of the Salym group, namely Zapadno-Salymskoye, Vadelypskoye and Verkhne-Salymskoye, as well as in-field gathering lines and high pressure water pipelines with total length of 47 km.
OAO Stroytransgaz signed a contract with Salym Petroleum Development N.B. for construction of oil gathering system at the Zapadno-Salymskoye field in December last year.
During the signing of the Addendum it was pointed out that: “at present the key elements of production infrastructure are being put in operation at the field, i.e. in-field pipelines, oil treatment facilities, and an oil export pipeline. According to the Schedule these field facilities and constructed well clusters will enter the unified system and Zapadno-Salymskoye field, with the largest reserves in the Salym group, will be put into commercial operation, opening a way for speedy build-up of oil production”.
OAO Stroytransgaz considers participation in realization of SPD projects as one of the prospective directions of long-term mutually beneficial co-operation, demonstration of high quality standards of its engineering and construction services, and at the same time as a practical possibility to get acquainted with a valuable experience of high-class international management.
