OAO Stroytransgaz signed a contract for construction in India of two sections of the products pipeline Mundra-Delhi with the total length of 544 km.
The Owner of the Project is Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., the Indian State Refiner.
The Commercial Proposal of OAO Stroytransgaz was optimally corresponding to the requirements of the Owner as compared to other bidders. Among the bidders for implementation of the Project there were such major Indian construction companies as Punj Lloyd Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Gammon (India) Ltd. and an Arab construction company Dodsal Pte. Ltd.
The products pipeline with the total length of 1087 km is intended for transport of oil products to the Northern part of India.
The Project is divided by the Owner into four sections: the first – 18”, 265.8 km; the second – 18”, 277.7 km; the third – 18”, 247.7 km; the fourth – 18”, 16”, 8”, 296 km.
OAO Stroytransgaz is designated a General Contractor for implementation of the first two sections of the products pipeline.
Time for completion of the Project is 12 months.
A Subcontractor of OAO Stroytransgaz will be Essar Construction Ltd., an Indian partner, in syndication with which OAO Stroytransgaz implemented three projects in the territory of India: 135 km gas pipeline Baroda – Ahmedobad – Kalol; 267 km slurry pipeline Bailadila – Vishakhapatnam and 688 km products pipeline Chennai – Trichy – Madurai.
At present OAO Stroytransgaz as a consortium partner of Essar Construction Ltd. is completing the construction of 168 km section of the Anand – Rajkot gas pipeline. The said project is being implemented within the frames of provision of gas supply to the State of Gujarat.
OAO Stroytransgaz is active in the Indian oil-and-gas construction market since the year of 2001.
