Stroytransgaz was once again among companies participating in the international tradeshow Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industries (Neftegaz-2008). This large, twelfth by count, event took place on June 23-26 in Moscow in the central exhibition complex Expocentre.

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Stroytransgaz was held in the company’s central office in Moscow on June 10, 2008. The meeting approved the annual report and financial statements of the company for 2007. Financial statements included the statement of profit and loss for the Stroytransgaz group of companies.

PJSC Stroytransgaz has completed welding work for the new SHBAB-2 oil pipeline. The facility, 217 kilometers long and 30 inches in diameter, is part of a project to increase the transmission capacity of the Sheiba-Abqaiq (SHBAB-1) oil pipeline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi state oil company Saudi Aramco is the customer for the project, which is being realized on EPC terms.

The final round in the World Amputee Football Cup for the Stroytransgaz Prize has ended. Matches took place from May 26 through May 31 on the football fields of Sputnik-Sport in Sochi. The Sputnik complex is home to the training center for the national football teams.

Stroytransgaz started welding works at the section 0-116 km for Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) 0km-116km pipeline replacement project in Atyrau region (Republic of Kazakhstan). Agreement with project customer JSC «Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K» had been signed on 31 January 2008.
