Russia's Stroytransgaz Completes 240 Kilometer Taweelah-Fujairah Gas Pipeline Project in UAE

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 18: Russian construction company, PJSC Stroytransgaz has completed the last construction phase of the 240 kilometer Taweelah-Fujairah gas pipeline project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that will provide 56.6 million cubic meters of gas per day to customers. The project has been tested and the pipeline and the section have been put into exploitation.
Dolphin Energy Limited of Abu Dhabi, a company involved in the production and processing of natural gas, awarded the construction contract for its new Taweelah to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (TFP) across the UAE to Stroytransgaz PJSC of Russia. It was signed in July 2008.
The gas pipeline, 240 kilometers in length and 48 inches in diameter, will cover UAE completely and link Taweelah on the Persian Gulf coast with Fujairah on the coast of the Gulf of Oman.
