Baroda-Ahmedabad-Kalol gas pipeline
The consortium of Stroytransgaz, Indian company Essar Construction Ltd., and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. were chosen in a tender to construct the Baroda-Ahmedabad-Kalol gas pipeline. Its length is 135 kilometers and it has a diameter of 24 inches. Principal for the project was Gujarat State Petronet India Ltd. A contract on EPC terms was signed in April 2003.
Once built, the pipeline has supplied gas to the Ahmedabad Electric Company for residents and businesses in Ahmedabad.
