Yuri Korchagin

In 2006, at the request of LUKOIL, Stroytransgaz began work on a project to construct the technological complex for the offshore ice-resistant platform LSP-1, which will be used to develop the Yuri Korchagin field. The field is located in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea. Annual oil production from the field is planned at 2.2 million tons and natural gas at 2.4 billion cubic meters.

Stroytransgaz subsidiary STG Engineering will modify basic design, prepare detail design and as-build documentation, ensure procurement, and manage construction for the LSP-1’s exploitation-technological and energy complex.

The platform will be equipped for zero discharge technology, fully excluding impact on the environment. Transport and installation of the LSP-1 at the field is planned for 2009.
