Zapolyarnoe oil-gas-condensate field

In October 1997 Yamburggazdobycha (Gazprom) and Stroytransgaz signed a general contract for development of one of the largest hydrocarbon fields in the world — the Zapolyarnoe oil-gas-condensate field.

Stroytransgaz built three gas processing complexes, the Zapolyarnoe–Urengoy three-line gas main pipeline, and 348 exploitation wells under the contract.

Incremental introduction of the objects into exploitation was completed in September 2004, bringing volume of gas extraction at the Zapolyarnoe field to its designed level — 100 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
