Khakassky aluminium plant
In 2004 Stroytransgaz, via its subsidiary Stroytransgaz-M and RUSAL subsidiary Engineering Construction Company, concluded a contract for construction of two electrolytic processing buildings each measuring 1,224 meters by 27 meters for the Khakassky aluminum plant in Sayanogorsk in the Republic of Khakassia. The plant is designed to produce 300,000 tons of aluminum per year.
Work within the project included building two gas treatment plants. We also installed 14,000 cubic meters of solid-cast reinforced concrete foundations and assembled 54,000 cubic meters of modular reinforced concrete carcasses and 16,000 cubic meters of metalwork and 800 tons of coverings and roofing of crimped aluminum sheeting. We installed concrete floors, laid engineering networks, and completed many other assignments.
Work was completed in 2007.
