Yuri Korchagin oil field

In 2006, at the request of LUKOIL, Stroytransgaz began work on a project to construct the technological complex for the offshore ice-resistant platform LSP-1, which is used to develop the Yuri Korchagin field. The field is located in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea. Annual oil production from the field was planned at 2.2 million tons and natural gas at 2.4 billion cubic meters.

Stroytransgaz subsidiary STG Engineering prepared detail design and as-build documentation, ensured procurement, and managed construction for the LSP-1’s exploitation-technological and energy complex. Length and width are 95.5x72.2 meters, heigth 90 meters. Weigth 15,500 tons. The platform is equipped for zero discharge technology, fully excluding impact on the environment.

The LSP-1 have been installed at the field in 2009.
