TEC-27
In 2007 Stroytransgaz concluded a contract with Mosenergo to fulfill assembly work and procure materials and equipment for the fourth energy block of the PGU-450Т at TEC-27. The refitting to update the plant to gas-vapor technology raised the performance index of the TEC, reduced fuel expenditure, and improved the environmental characteristics of the plant. The project was part of the Program for the Development and Technical Refitting of the Moscow Energy System for 2006–2020. Electric power generation capacity of the plant is 450 MW.
Work included procurement and assembly of 7,300 tons of metal structure envelops for the main corpus and 800 tons of service platforms as well as procurementof 2,000 tons of pipes and 4,000 individual fittings for steam turbine, generator, and pumping equipment.
Work was completed in 2008.
