Yuzhnaya oil treatment unit

In October 2006 Stroytransgaz signed a general agreement to construct a complex for oil treatment and delivery facilities to main oil pipelines in Samara Oblast — the Yuzhnaya oil treatment unit. The facility is designed for capacity of 1.76 million tons of stock tank oil annually.

Stroyneft, a subsidiary of Transneft, was customer for the project. The contract specified building 46 sub-facilities such as an oil discharge point, units for oil treatment, a pumping station for crude tank oil, a flare unit, a commercial metering
station, a tank farm for crude and stock-tank oil, a pipeline for stock-tank oil, and auxiliary structures.

By constructing the complex's first and second phases in parallel, the project was completed in 2007 ten months ahead of its planned date. Specialists from subsidiary STG Engineering delivered essential equipment and materials at an accelerated pace, which was another factor contributing to the contract’s early fulfillment.
