Vankor–Purpe oil pipeline
In 2006 Stroytransgaz and Vankorneft concluded a contract for construction of the main oil pipeline from the Vankor field to the Purpe booster station.
The oil pipeline, which is to run 543 kilometers and have a diameter of 820 millimeters, will transport oil for the Vankor oil field in Krasnoyarsk Krai to the Transneft main oil pipeline system. Hydrocarbons from the Vankor field are then to enter the ESPO for export. Design capacity of the oil pipeline is 25 million tons per year.
As provided in the general contract, Stroytransgaz will build the line part of the object in the section 0 kilometers to 155 kilometers.
Work is to be completed in 2009.
