Industrial construction

Stroytransgaz believes that participation in industrial construction projects is one of the most promising areas open to it.

Demand is growing in Russia and beyond its borders from governments and private companies for the creation of new industrial infrastructure and the modernization of existing facilities. Stroytransgaz began realizing projects for the metallurgy and defense industries in 2003–2004. In 2007, under a program to diversify its industrial activities, the company began realizing a strategy for allied industrial sectors:

• Chemical industry
• Transportation
• Manufacturing of construction materials

Projects in Russia:

• Novy Urengoy gas-chemical complex (400,000 tons of ethylene and polyethylene per year)
• Khakassky aluminum plant (300,000 tons of aluminum per year)
• Chemical weapons destruction complex

Projects in Foreign Countries

• South Middle Area Gas Exploitation Project (2.2 billion cubic meters of gas per year), Syria
• North and South Middle Area Gas Exploitation Project (1.3 billion cubic meters of gas per year), Syria
