Permafrost

The company’s specialists, working where ecosystems are unusually sensitive to production-induced activity, apply technologies with zero impact on the environment. One of these is a new method for constructing foundations. Using thermopiles allows us to reduce construction time by a factor of two or three since freezing takes place simultaneously with the installation of over-foundation structures. Moreover, this technology does away with the necessity for ammonia-brine units for artificial cooling, and this lowers the cost of freezing. The company is also used thermopiles in the Far North—for construction of the gas pipeline for the Zapadno-Ozernoe gas-condensate field in Chukotka and the Vankor-Purpe oil pipeline in Krasnoyarsk Krai.

While carrying out construction-assembly work at the Zapolyarnoe gas-oil-condensate field, we used other foundation construction technologies to guard the environment, among them: pile sinking in the holes with subsequent concreting and pile driving in the pre-bored holes.
