Permafrost

The company’s specialists, working where ecosystems are unusually sensitive to production-induced activity, apply technologies with zero impact on the environment. One of these is a new method for constructing foundations. Using thermopiles allows us to reduce the construction time by two or three times since freezing takes place at the same time with the installation of overfoundation structures. Moreover, this technology does away with the necessity for ammoniabrine units for artificial cooling, and this lowers the cost of freezing. The company is also used thermopiles in the Far North – for construction of the gas pipeline for the Zapadno-Ozer field in Chukotka and the Vankor-Purpe oil pipeline in Krasnoyarsk Krai.

While carrying out construction-assembly work at the Zapolyarnoe gas-oilcondensate field, we used other foundation construction technologies to guard the environment, among them: pile sinking in the holes with subsequent concreting and pile driving in the pre-bored holes.
